Resources On Prep

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (or PrEP) is a combination of two HIV medicines (enofovir and emtricitabine) in the form of a daily pill that prevents infection of HIV. PrEP is recommended for individuals who are HIV-negative and at high risk of contracting HIV. When taken as prescribed, PrEP can decrease the risk of HIV infection by 90% for sexual transmission and by more than 70% for injection drug use. The below links provide more information on PrEP.
